MARKETING PLAN

Marketing Matters

One of the most important components to get your home from "For Sale" to "Sold" is great marketing exposure. With today's technology, the internet is increasingly the resource used by most buyers when searching for a home. According to the NAR (National Association of Realtors®), 80% of buyers are now using the net to find their home. Here is the breakdown of the information sources used in a buyers home search according to the 2006 National Association of REALTORS® Profile of Home Buyers and Sellers:

  • Real Estate Agent - 85%
  • Internet - 80%
  • Yard Sign - 63%
  • Newspaper - 55%
  • Open House - 47%
  • Home Book/Magazine 34%
  • Builder - 26%
  • Television - 11%
  • Relocation Company - 5%

As a successful agent, I know how important it is for you to have a great marketing plan. I have witnessed the impact of the internet, and know that almost every buyer out there has already seen your home on the net before they walk through the door. Of course it is still important to use the traditional methods of newspaper advertising, yard signs, and open houses in order to capture everyone. Here are some of the most important elements of my marketing plan to get your home SOLD!

  • Free Staging of your property so it makes a fantastic first impression
  • Professional Photography
  • Work with a Graphic Artist to create top quality brochures
  • Place the home on MRIS (Multiple Listing Service)
  • Preview the property with all Evers agents to ensure best pricing and staging
  • Hold Public and Broker Open Houses
  • Create Direct Website for your home only (ex: www.myhomeonoakview.com)
  • Place Ad in Washington Post
  • Place Ad in local newspaper, such as Northwest Current
  • Send out "Just Listed" cards announcing open house to your neighborhood
  • Enhanced listing on http://www.realtor.com/ (Reads as a brochure with up to 25 photos)
  • Place on www.zillow.com as featured property in zip code with description and multiple photos
  • Color ebrochure on http://washingtondc.craigslist.org/
  • Email ebrochures of property to over 1000 potential buyers
